Adding an alarm system to the app

When you launch the BCS ONE app, the welcome screen appears with a selection of configuration areas. To add the PulsON Alarm system, select the Alarm tile, then click the Add Device button.

Generating a QR Code on Keypads (TB7, LCD/C, LCD/S)

To add a panel to the BCS ONE app as quickly and conveniently as possible, we recommend scanning a QR code. The code contains the necessary system data, so you don’t have to enter it manually.

To scan the code, first display it on the keypad screen. The procedure varies slightly depending on the device model.

TouchBus 7" Tablet Keypad (TB7)

Thanks to the graphical touchscreen interface, scanning the QR code takes just a moment:

1. Wake up the keypad screen and log in with the user code of a user authorized to use the mobile app.
2. Open the user menu (gear icon / settings button).
3. Select the QR tab.
4. The keypad screen will display a QR code ready to be scanned in the BCS ONE app. Next to the code, you’ll also see the system data needed for manual addition (including the panel’s serial number, server address, and port).

Keypads with an LCD display (LCD/C, LCD/S)

For keypads, you navigate the menu using the physical buttons and navigation arrows:

1. Log in to the user menu by entering your user code. After successfully logging in, press the OK Menu button.
2. Use the navigation arrows to go to the QR Code tab and confirm your selection.
3. Two options will appear on the keypad display:
4. QR Code — selecting this option will display a QR code ready to be scanned.
5. System — data to be entered manually: server address, port, and panel serial number (SN).
