Panic Alarm¶
Panic Button Function¶
The Panic Alarm button is available at the bottom of the system interface screen (Partitions, Zones, Outputs, and Log tabs). It is used to manually trigger an alarm from the mobile app—for example, in an emergency situation when the user needs to generate an alarm immediately.

Activation Procedure (Press and Hold)¶
To trigger a panic alarm:
- Open the selected alarm system in the BCS ONE app.
- Locate the red Panic Alarm bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Press and hold the button (a short tap is not enough—this prevents accidental activation).
When you hold it down, the system triggers a panic alarm. The event is logged as Panic Alarm (entries in red) with information about the source Mobile App, the partition, and the date and time.
Example entries in the Log tab after triggering a panic alarm from the app. A panic alarm is usually treated as a silent alarm — the details of the on-site notification (siren, monitoring) depend on the configuration set by the installer.
Warning
The panic alarm should only be used in a genuine emergency. False alarms may result in unnecessary intervention.
