REPEATERS

If you need to boost the signal strength from wireless devices, use a repeater (range extender). In the configuration program, press the Scan button for the appropriate device (one of the eight) and, at the same time, press and hold the Enroll button on the repeater. The red LED will light up. When the green LED stays on steadily, release the button; the repeater has been added, and its serial number will appear in the program.

Note 1

If any wireless devices were previously added to the system, you must remove them and add them again. This will allow >the wireless devices to select the best communication path with the system.

The repeater must be connected to a 230V power supply. Its built-in battery serves as a >backup power source.
