LOG

The Log tab allows you to view events that have occurred in the alarm system. Events are visible only while the control panel is connected to the configuration software.

In the fields at the top of the screen, select the Starting Event Number and the number of events you want to retrieve from the control panel.

Click the Load button to retrieve events from the control panel. Use the Select File/Folder button to specify the location where you want to save the event file, and click the Save button to save it. The retrieved events contain information about the time, event type, partition, and user.

Events can also be viewed directly from the keypad—log in with your user or installer code, press the OK Menu key, and select Event Log. To view event details, press the OK key on any event. You can then scroll through the events using the arrow keys (keys 2 and 0).
