Quick Start Guide¶

This abbreviated guide is intended to speed up the deployment and initial configuration of the system. It does not replace knowledge of the full Installer’s Manual, which contains a complete set of installation, configuration, and diagnostic guidelines, as well as safety requirements.

How to Add a Wireless Detector¶

ℹ️ IMPORTANT

Before adding a detector, make sure the system is disarmed, there are no active alarms, and the RF module has been scanned and is visible in the list of scanned modules.

Adding a PowerG Detector from the Keypad¶

Log in with the installer code → OK Menu → Installer Programming → 04 Zones.
Select the first unused zone (recommended: program zones sequentially).
Select the Scan RF Zones function.
On the detector, press and hold the ENROLL button, then release it when the LED lights up.
When the keypad displays the detector’s serial number, verify that it matches and confirm by pressing OK.
Set the zone response type (e.g., immediate, delayed), assign it to a partition, and enable the necessary functions.
Exit installer programming mode — the added detector is ready for use.

Adding a PowerG detector using the Alarm Configuration 2 program¶

Connect to the panel using the Alarm Configuration 2 program.
Open the Zones tab and select an unused zone.
Click Scan next to the selected zone.
In the scan window, press and hold the ENROLL button on the detector, then release it when the LED lights up.
When the program displays the detector’s serial number, verify that it matches and confirm the addition.
Set the reaction type, partition assignment, and other parameters.
Upload the configuration to the panel via the Upload to panel and save button.

Adding an Ajax Detector via the Keypad¶

Log in with the installer code → OK Menu → Installer Programming → 04 Zones.
Select the first unused zone (recommended: program the zones in sequence).
Select the Scan RF Zones function.
Turn on the Ajax detector.
When the keypad displays the detector’s serial number, verify that it matches and confirm by pressing OK.
Set the zone response type (e.g., immediate, delayed), assign it to a partition, and enable the necessary functions.
Exit installer programming mode — the added detector is ready for use.

Adding an Ajax detector using the Alarm Configuration 2 program¶

Connect to the panel using the Alarm Configuration 2 program.
Open the Zones tab and select an unused zone.
Click Scan next to the selected zone.
In the scan window, turn on the Ajax detector’s power.
When the program displays the detector’s serial number, verify that it matches and confirm the addition.
Set the reaction type, partition assignment, and other parameters.
Upload the configuration to the panel via the Upload to panel and save button.

Warning

Motion detectors are put into sleep mode when the system is disarmed to conserve energy. Reed switches are active at all times by default.

How to Add a Wireless Keyfob¶

A wireless keyfob is assigned to a specific user, so before adding a keyfob, you must create a user in the system to whom the keyfob will be assigned. A keyfob cannot be assigned to the master user code.

Adding a PowerG keyfob from the keypad¶

Log in with the installer code → OK Menu → Installer Programming → 09 Users → 01 Users.
Select the user to whom you want to assign the keyfob.
Make sure the Active option is checked for the user.
Select the Add RF Remote function.
On the keyfob, press and hold the button marked with an asterisk until the yellow LED lights up; release it as soon as the LED lights up and wait a few seconds.
When the keypad displays the keyfob’s serial number, verify that it matches and confirm by pressing OK.
Exit installer programming mode — the added keyfob is ready for use.

Adding a PowerG keyfob using the Alarm Configuration 2 program¶

Connect to the panel using the Alarm Configuration 2 program.
Open the Users tab and select a user.
Click Scan in the RF Remote column.
On the keyfob, press and hold the star button until the yellow LED lights up, release it, and wait a few seconds.
The program will display the keyfob’s serial number; verify that it matches and confirm by clicking OK.
Upload the configuration to the panel via the Upload to panel and save button.

Adding an Ajax keyfob from the keypad¶

Log in with the installer code → OK Menu → Installer Programming → 09 Users → 01 Users.
Select the user to whom you want to assign the keyfob.
Make sure the Active option is checked for the user.
Select the Add RF Remote function.
On the keyfob, press and hold the full arming and panic buttons (top left + bottom right) simultaneously until the green LED lights up.
When the keypad displays the keyfob’s serial number, verify that it matches and confirm by pressing OK.
Exit installer programming mode — the added keyfob is ready for use.

Adding an Ajax keyfob using the Alarm Configuration 2 program¶

Connect to the panel using the Alarm Configuration 2 program.
Open the Users tab and select a user.
Click Scan in the RF Remote column.
On the keyfob, press and hold the full arming and panic buttons (top left + bottom right) simultaneously until the green LED lights up.
The program will display the keyfob’s serial number; verify that it matches and confirm by clicking OK.
Upload the configuration to the panel via the Upload to panel and save button.

How to Add a Wireless Keypad¶

ℹ️ IMPORTANT

If the system has no bus keypads and none will be installed, a wireless keypad can be added only from the Alarm Configuration 2 program. Without a bus keypad, this operation cannot be performed from the installer menu.

A wireless keypad can be assigned only to partitions 1, 2, and/or 3 (one or more of them).

Adding a PowerG wireless keypad from the keypad¶

Log in with the installer code → OK Menu → Installer Programming → 05 Keypads → 01 Settings
Select a free keypad slot (1–8) to which the wireless keypad will be assigned.
Select the Scan RF Keypad function.
On the RF keypad, press and hold the function button (*) until the LED lights yellow.
When the keypad displays the RF keypad serial number (ID), verify that it matches and confirm by pressing OK.
Assign the keypad to partitions 1, 2, and/or 3.
Exit installer programming mode — the wireless keypad is ready for use.

Adding a PowerG wireless keypad using the Alarm Configuration 2 program¶

Connect to the panel using the Alarm Configuration 2 program.
Expand the Keypads tab, go to Settings, and select a free keypad slot (1–8).
Click Scan next to the selected slot.
On the RF keypad, press and hold the function button (*) until the LED lights yellow.
When the program displays the keypad serial number (ID), verify that it matches and confirm the addition.
Assign the keypad to partitions 1, 2, and/or 3.
Upload the configuration to the panel via the Upload to panel and save button — the wireless keypad is ready for use.

How to Add a Wireless Siren¶

Adding a PowerG wireless siren from the keypad¶

Log in with the installer code → OK Menu → Installer Programming → 07 Outputs
Select an available output (1–19).
Select the Scan RF Siren function.
Put the siren into pairing mode (hold down the Enroll button on the device according to its instructions).
When the keypad displays the siren’s serial number, verify that it matches and confirm by pressing OK.

Adding a PowerG wireless siren using the Alarm Configuration 2 program¶

Open the Outputs tab and select an available output.
Click Scan next to the selected output.
Put the siren into enrollment mode (hold down the Enroll button on the device according to its instructions).
The program will display the siren’s serial number; verify that it matches and confirm by clicking OK.

How to Change the Master User Code¶

From the keypad¶

Log in with the master user code (default 8888) → OK Menu.
Go to the Users tab.
Select the master user (position 1).
Select the Personal Code option and enter the new code.
Confirm the change by pressing OK.

From the BCS ONE mobile app¶

Log in to the app.
Go to the Advanced option in the tab showing the system status.
Select the Change Password option.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Confirm the changes by tapping Change Password.

From the Alarm Configuration 2 program¶

Expand the Users tab, then select Codes from the list.
In the Codes window, select MAIN USER.
Enter the new code.
Upload the configuration to the panel via the Upload to panel and save button.

Warning

In the event of a threat, the user can use the duress code. This is the user’s code with the last digit increased by 1. Using this code allows the user to arm or disarm the system without arousing suspicion, while simultaneously generating a silent alarm sent to the monitoring station.
