KEYPADS¶
Settings¶
Name¶
Keypad name—the programmed name will be displayed in the system log, mobile app, etc.
Serial Number¶
After scanning the wireless keypad, its serial number will be displayed here.
Scan¶
When adding wireless keypads, press the Scan button next to the selected address/name of the keypad (when programming from the keypad, select the Scan RF Keypad option), then press and hold the button marked with an asterisk on the keypad until the orange LED lights up. This will add the keypad to the system.
Assigning to Subsystems¶
Partitions assigned to the keypad will be displayed on the keypad screen—provided this option is enabled.
Buzzer -> BELL¶
If this function is enabled, the buzzer in the keypad will mimic the behavior of the Bell output (siren output).
Gong¶
If this function is enabled, each time a violation of a zone with the “gong” function enabled occurs, the keypad buzzer will sound briefly. To allow the user to enable or disable the gong sound, program one of the function keys (F1–F6) in the keypad options as “Enable/Disable Gong Function.”
Assigning Exit Delay Times to the Keypad¶
Selecting which exit delay (set in the Partitions tab) will be counted down when arming individual partitions.
Keypad Options¶
Fire Button Active¶
If this feature is enabled, the fire alarm button on the keypad is active.
Panic button active¶
If this feature is enabled, the panic alarm button on the keypad is active.
Medical Alarm Button Active¶
If this feature is enabled, the medical alarm button on the keypad is active.
Display entry time¶
This function determines whether the entry time will be displayed on the keypad—on the partition screen.
Exit time display
This function determines whether the exit time will be displayed on the keypad—on the partition screen.
Partition status display¶
This function determines whether the status of the partitions assigned to the keypad will be displayed on the keypad’s main screen.
LCD Sleep Mode¶
If this function is enabled, the LCD display will not show any content 5 seconds after the last operation on the keypad.
LED Dimming¶
If this feature is enabled, the status LEDs will turn off 5 seconds after the last operation on the keypad.
The AC LED flashes when there is no ~230V power supply
If this feature is enabled, the AC LED on the keypad will flash when there is no AC power.
The buzzer does not signal a trouble
If this feature is enabled, the buzzer will not signal a system trouble.
Keypad Dimming During Monitoring
If this feature is enabled, the keypad backlight, LCD display, and LEDs will turn off after all partitions assigned to the keypad have been armed.
Brightness¶
Set the brightness of the keypad backlight. Range: 0–5.
Buzzer¶
Set the buzzer volume when using the keypad buttons. Range: 0–5.
LCD Backlight Duration¶
Parameter specifying the backlight duration for the keypad. Range: 000–999 seconds. 0 = infinite backlight duration (the backlight does not turn off).
Function Buttons¶
The keypad has 6 function buttons designed to make it easier for the user to operate the system. Function buttons make it easier to activate the most frequently used functions in the system. They act as keyboard shortcuts that trigger specific system responses according to the settings programmed by the installer.
To trigger the action assigned to a function button, press and hold for 1 second the button marked with the “f” symbol and the function button number 1–6.
