DIAGNOSTICS (PC ONLY)

Diagnostic functions are available exclusively in the Alarm Configuration 2 program.

Modules

Above the list of modules is the control panel’s serial number, which identifies the control panel when logging into servers.

The table displays information about the control panel modules connected to the system. Next to each module’s name, you’ll find information about its current status, tamper status, supply voltage, and firmware version. All modules in the system should have the same firmware version (with a similar date).

For modules connected to the system, the correct status is “Online.” If the message “Not scanned” appears for connected modules, check the address settings in the modules and keypads and scan the bus.

Zones

This tab allows you to test the zones in the system in real-time. To perform a test, click the “Test Zones” button at the top of the window. The current status of the zones will be displayed in the STATUS column.

Outputs

This tab allows you to test the outputs in the system in real-time. To test the outputs, press the ON and/or OFF buttons. The current output status will be displayed in the STATUS column.

Note

If a device connected to the output being tested malfunctions, the displayed status may not correspond to the device’s actual behavior at the output.
