Start Scan

After connecting the modules, scan the system devices before beginning to program the control panel.

After scanning the bus, you can view the keypads and expanders present in the system here.

Note

You can scan the bus using the Alarm Configuration 2 software, but also via the keypad in programming mode or by pressing the button above the battery on the control panel board. To scan the bus using the button, press and hold the button during normal control panel operation until the blue WiFi and GSM range LEDs light up. Release the button and count the number of flashes. The number of flashes indicates the number of active, scanned modules (keypads and expanders).
