PulsON Alarm 2.0 4G is a hybrid alarm system designed to detect, trigger an alarm, and notify you of situations posing an immediate threat to people or property at the protected site. Through its compatible detectors, the system detects, among other things, break-ins, fires, assaults, flooding, and many other incidents.

System Operation Description

The system displays its status via LCD keypads and the mobile app. The alarm system can be divided into 8 independent partitions, and each partition can be armed in one of two available modes: full arming mode—arming the entire partition—and night mode—arming the partition with zones defined as “night” zones disabled.

A partition is a part of the alarm system that groups detectors protecting a larger, functional area of the premises. The user can arm or disarm partitions independently as needed. For example, a single-family home can be divided into 3 partitions: the living area, the garage, and the workshop. Each partition can contain any number of detectors.

When a partition is disarmed, the system responds only to violations of 24-hour zones—e.g., 24-hour fire, 24-hour intrusion, 24-hour flood, 24-hour carbon monoxide, etc. 24-hour zones trigger an alarm regardless of the partition’s status.

When a partition is armed in full arming mode, a violation of any zone assigned to that partition (except for a delayed zone, which triggers an alarm after the programmed time allotted for disarming the system has elapsed) results in an alarm being triggered. Full arming is typically used when the user intends to leave the premises.

A partition armed in night mode will generate alarms from all zones assigned to the partition, except for those defined by the installer as “night” zones. Typically, arming in night mode is used when the user remains on the premises.

We assign the “night” attribute to those detectors that the user may violate during normal operation when staying at home overnight. Any violation of other detectors (without the “night” attribute) will set off an alarm.

If an alarm event occurs, the system will immediately generate a loud alarm via a siren connected to the appropriate output on the control panel, display a message on the keypad assigned to the partition where the alarm occurred, and, if the control panel uses a GPRS or IP connection, send an alarm notification to the security agency and notify the user of the event via a mobile app.
